Maui - The Valley Island
Your mountain bike trail guide to the islands of Hawaii.

Map of Maui

Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands and has two volcanic mountains, Puu Kukui (West Maui mountains) and Haleakala. Haleakala stands at 10,023 feet and offers mountain biking on open single track and dirt roads within the Kula Forest Reserve at the 6,000 foot level. Enjoyable views, pine trees and cool alpine weather give this area a feeling of the Pacific Northwest.

Road riding is also popular. The coastal highways provide close-up views of the neighboring islands of Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Molokini and the Big Island of Hawaii.
